Ever spare a thought for the people who make sure school kids get around safely? School Transport Services devoted a whole day to appreciate its school bus drivers and support staff.
In the event hosted by City 1016 Radio presenters Sid and Malavika, colleagues participated in cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, tug-of-war and other fun challenges while bhangra dancers and cheerleaders performed. A ‘Got Talent’-style show had drivers and bus attendants singing and dancing for a panel of judges, including company MD Steve Burnell, Thomas Edelman from Road Safety UAE among others.
The winner was awarded AED 4,000. Awards were also handed out to the employees whose hard work and daily contributions have helped ensure that STS remains one of the
best ways to provide safe, timely and smart service.
