Al Rabeeh Academy is located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City and contains a wealth of specialist facilities. The Academy offers an English National Curriculum balanced with Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies for Arabs and Non-Arabs with a co-educational learning environment up to and including Year 3; from Year 4, boys and girls are segregated.

Al Rabeeh School was founded as it is today in 1979 and current Principal Riaan Huyser joined the school in April 2019. The school follows the English National Curriculum and teaches students ages 3 to 11 years old. The school is unique in offering a “bridging programme” whereby a large majority of students are taught one year ahead of their chronological age, with the aim of aligning students’ attainment better to their age.
The school’s previous published inspection report was in October 2015 when it was rated Good, and it was also visited by inspectors in October 2017 to support the school in its transition and implementation of the bridging programme. As a result of this, Al Rabeeh School was inspected again fully in September 2018, a year later than previously programmed. The school is also a member of British Schools of the Middle East, through whom professional development for staff, and inter-school competitions and cooperation are organised.

GEMS American Academy, Abu Dhabi (GAA) is the first of many planned American schools that are modeled after the highly successful and sought after Dubai American Academy. Opened in September 2007, GEMS American Academy, Abu Dhabi benefits from the experience of our sister school in providing an outstanding college preparatory educational program in the English language to students from around the world. In October 2011, we moved to our new state-of-the art facilities in Khalifa City, which include a planetarium, a 500 seat auditorium, a six courts sports hall, 2 swimming pools, 4 full size tennis/ basketball courts and a full sized rugby pitch. Al Diyafah High School LLC was founded over 30 years ago, in September 1982, by the late Mrs. Winnie D’Cunha. It started as a Nursery with only 2 children in a small villa located on Al Diyafah Street, in Dubai.
To accommodate growing numbers, the school moved to a new campus in 2001, where the Dubai school is presently located. The school now has over 1,480 students from several nationalities, all studying together as one big family. A very successful senior school was started to allow the students to continue their studies. This offers a wide range of subjects from the Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.
