Taking the STS Group’s Biofuel Initiative Into High Gear
We have always been strongly committed towards being environmentally conscious. In order to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to mitigating climate change, STS Group facilitated the launch of the Neutral Fuels B20 biofuel in GEMS Modern Academy (GMA),last year. This year, STS Group launched the biofuel station in the Dubai American Academy (DAA). In addition to providing the biofuel to its own school buses, this fueling tank caters to school buses from two neighbouring schools: American School of Dubai (ASD) and GEMS Wellington International School (WIS).
What is the biofuel?
The biofuel is a type of renewable energy source derived from plant and waste materials. It burns cleanly and improves the quality of tailpipe emissions, thereby improving the overall air quality for everyone.
