bBT Receives the ITC Distinguished Service Award
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi, has held the first annual ceremony in appreciation of the efforts and active contributions of those supporting the UAE transport sector. The event took place on the evening of 3rd March 2022 at the ITC Center.
Bright Bus Transport (BBT), operated and managed by School Transport Services (STS) was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for the Best School Transport in Abu Dhabi.
“This is wonderful news for you and for us. We are proud to be partnered with your esteemed organisation. We are very excited to share this achievement with our parent community,” said Abdul Raheem, the Head of Operations at Amity International School.
The ITC Awards focused on the important roles played by organisations and individuals in supporting the transport sector, intelligent transportation systems, support services, planning and strategic affairs, and licensing and inspection.
In additional to the Distinguished Service Award for BBT, six of our bus drivers and guardians were individually rewarded for their stellar services under the categories of Distinguished Driver and Supervisor of the Year.
Kiran Bhasker, Manager School Operations at GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi congratulated BBT on its latest accolade, “A proud moment indeed for BBT and GEMS. Thank you so much being a safe partner who takes care of our school transport.”
Achieving this award is by no means an easy feat as it recognises our service excellence and continuous development. It demonstrates how we work tirelessly to provide safe services every day.
